Trixino Selfie Verification: Photo Requirements
Before you can withdraw your winnings from Trixino casino, you must complete the account verification process. A crucial part of this is the selfie verification, which confirms your identity. This guide walks you through the exact photo requirements and common pitfalls to ensure your verification is approved quickly.
Why Trixino Requires Selfie Verification
Trixino, like all licensed UK casinos, is legally obligated to verify the identity of its players. This process, known as Know Your Customer (KYC), is a critical security measure to prevent fraud, money laundering, and underage gambling. The selfie verification is the final step that ties your identity document to a live image of you, proving that you are the legitimate account holder. Completing this promptly is essential for accessing your funds and claiming any Trixino bonus offers.
Preparing Your Selfie: A Step-by-Step Guide
Taking the perfect verification selfie is straightforward if you follow these steps. Rejected photos are the most common reason for delays, so pay close attention.
- Find Good Lighting: Stand in a well-lit room with natural light if possible. Avoid shadows on your face and harsh backlighting.
- Use a Neutral Background: A plain, light-colored wall is ideal. Avoid busy backgrounds with other people or clutter.
- Hold Your ID Document: Hold your chosen photo ID (passport, driving licence, or national ID card) next to your face. Ensure the photo and details on the document are completely visible and not covered by your fingers.
- Frame the Shot: Your entire face and the held document must be clearly in frame. Look directly at the camera with a neutral expression. Do not wear hats or sunglasses.
- Take a Clear Photo: Use a modern smartphone camera. Ensure the image is in focus, not blurry, and that all text on the document is legible.
Common Reasons for Rejection and How to Avoid Them
Understanding why selfies get rejected can save you valuable time. Here are the most frequent issues the verification team encounters.
| Problem | Why It’s Rejected | The Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Blurry Image | Details on the ID or your face cannot be read. | Use a steady hand or prop the phone up. Ensure the camera lens is clean. |
| Glare on ID | The light reflects off the ID’s plastic coating, obscuring information. | Angle the ID slightly away from direct light sources to eliminate glare. |
| Cropped Document | Part of the ID or your face is cut out of the picture. | Step back slightly to ensure everything is within the frame. |
| Old or Invalid ID | The document is expired or not an accepted type. | Use a current, government-issued photo ID like a passport or driving licence. |
| Mismatched Information | The name on the ID doesn’t perfectly match your registered Trixino account name. | Register with your full legal name as it appears on official documents. |
The Upload Process and What to Expect Next
Once you have a suitable photo, log into your Trixino account and navigate to the ‘Verification’ or ‘My Account’ section. You will find an option to upload your selfie with ID. The interface is typically drag-and-drop or a simple file browser. After uploading, the verification team usually processes requests within 24-48 hours. You will receive an email confirmation once your account is fully verified. If there is an issue, they will email you with specific instructions on what needs to be resubmitted.
Troubleshooting and Customer Support
If your verification is taking longer than 48 hours or has been rejected multiple times, don’t panic. First, carefully read any rejection email from Trixino, as it often specifies the exact problem. If the instructions are unclear, contact Trixino customer support directly via live chat or email. Be polite and provide your username. They can often give you precise feedback on what to correct. Remember, this process is in place to protect you and your funds. Once verified, you can enjoy seamless withdrawals, claim a Trixino no deposit offer, or use a Trixino promo code without any delays, making your overall experience at Trixino casino much smoother.
